What to expect
Depending on the areas being treated, a Juvéderm® injection may take about 30 minutes after your consultation. The ZO Skin Centre® team member will clean your face and mark the injection areas. Most Juvéderm® formulas contain lidocaine to reduce discomfort during the injection, but you may ask about additional numbing creams if you are concerned about pain. Using a fine needle, the appropriate formula and dose of Juvéderm® will be injected into the selected areas of the face by a trained injector. Some patients may experience mild side effects, including redness, swelling, pain, and tenderness at the injection site that may last for 14 – 30 days. To minimize reactions and side effects, please talk to your ZO® injector about any allergies, past reactions, and your current medications.
