When you're young, you can smile, frown, scrunch up your face and the expression lines that appear on your face quickly disappear when you relax your face. Dysport^® is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be used in patients under 65 years of age who are in good general health and have realistic expectations about their Dysport^® treatment. Dysport^® is designed to treat dynamic wrinkles, particularly the frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). You should talk to your certified injector during your consultation about any allergies you may have, past reactions and side effects, as well as any medications and supplements you are currently taking.

A Dysport^® treatment typically takes about 15 – 60 minutes after your certified injector performs your consultation and creates your treatment plan. Your treatment plan will determine the best dose and injection points to meet your cosmetic goals. As you relax in one of our treatment rooms, your ZO^® injector will cleanse your face and mark the injection sites. You may experience mild discomfort during the injection, but a numbing cream can be applied before the treatment to help you feel more comfortable. Most patients see visible improvement in their dynamic wrinkles about 2 – 3 days after their Dysport^® treatment that last up to 4 months. After the treatment, you may have mild redness, itching, and inflammation in and around the injection sites that should subside on their own.
